Nintendo has just released details on the forthcoming update to its popular handheld gaming platform: The Nintendo DSi XL will go on sale in the U.S. on March 28 and have a list price of $189.99.

The DS and Wii took the top two slots in the US hardware sales during January’s monthly hardware chart, with Xbox 360 also comfortably outselling the PS3.
