
Panasonic announced on Sunday two new Micro Four-Thirds cameras, the Lumix DMC-G2 and a less expensive Lumix G10. Both cameras are in Panasonic’s line of “smaller” digital cameras in comparison to D-SLR’s, going without a mirror box or a dedicated autofocus image sensor.

Panasonic announced two new additions to its interchangeable-lens Micro Four Thirds camera stable today. The announcement itself is no surprise–in fact, we’d been expecting new Micro Four Thirds cameras from Panasonic at CES or PMA earlier this year–but the details of the new cameras offered an unexpected twist.

Camera maker Kodak has said it will sue Apple and Research In Motion (RIM), the makers of the iPhone and Blackberry, over technology used in their handsets.
Kodak has filed a complaint with the US International Trade Commission (ITC).
It alleges the iPhone and Blackberry use technology for previewing pictures that infringe Kodak patents.
