Nokia has just added two new slider phones to its mid range segment. The new devices announced are the Nokia 6700 Slide and the Nokia 7230, both of which are mid-range handsets targeted at the design conscious consumer. Both the devices are 3G Ready and are optimized for social networking and sharing content over the Internet

Nokia 6700 Slide
This device can be a termed a variant of Nokia’s existing 6700 classic and is better equipped amongst the two launches today. It features a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, dual LED flash and social networking abilities within the camera menu. This is a S60 based smartphone (check the screen! Looks like an updated S60 version!) and will appeal to users who do not wish to own an N-Series handset.
