An MP has been criticised for reading aloud from a BlackBerry-type device in the House of Commons.
During a speech on tackling anti-social behaviour last night, Tory MP Alistair Burt read out a letter about Criminal Record Bureau checks from a hand-held mobile gadget.
He was interrupted by Deputy Speaker Sir Michael Lord, who said the practice was ”to be discouraged”.
