If you want to avoid the crazy crowds associated with Black Friday 2009, you may consider waiting until November 30, 2009. That’s the biggest online shopping holiday of the year known as “Cyber Monday”. One of the most sought after items this year will be notebook computers so you may want to consider some of the Cyber Monday Laptop deals in order to score a sweet deal!

While Amazon.com’s Black Friday 2009 sales offer all sorts of electronics, the online retailer as well as Best Buy, Dell, CompUSA, HP, Lenovo and even Circuit City will all be participating with Cyber Monday sales deals. It’s a great time to shop for a new netbook, notebook, desktop or laptop computer.

It’s important to note that you might see what looks like a great deal on a notebook only to find out that it’s really a “netbook”. Netbooks are much smaller computers, usually with 7-10 inch screens, and less capabilities. Unless that’s what the person on your list is asking for, consider going the route of a laptop notebook computer which offers more processor speed, memory, hard drive space and other capabilities. The most important feature is of course a larger screen size to view computing tasks, pictures, videos and the world wide web on. Now, on to the deals…

Circuit City will offer some nice deals on Notebook laptop computers such as the Acer Extensa Notebook Intel Celeron 2.2GHz 15.4″ Vista Premium. That’s $100 more than the laptops being offered for Black Friday by Walmart and Staples or Best Buy, but you won’t have to fight the lines and crowds to get the deal online.

HP has been turning heads but mainly due to the fact that Staples and Walmart are offering an HP laptop for just $299 in-store. As for the HP website, they’ll offer the HP Pavilion DM3Z X2 Dual-Core 1.6GHz processor laptop computer with 4GB DDR3 memory, 320GB hard drive, 13.3″ screen, and the Windows 7 operating system for just $529.99, using coupon code SVMY478761.

Lenovo is another retailer for computers and electronics. They’ll offer 15% off all their IdeaPad and G Series laptops, as well as the Lenovo G450 Core Duo 2.1GHz processor laptop with 4GB DDR3 memory, 320GB harddrive with Windows 7 and 14.0″ screen for $499 with coupon code USPGIFTG450.

Dell Computer will have it’s own Cyber Monday sale starting 11/30 at Midnight. There’s no details posted yet by their website, but more information will be coming soon.

If you’re willing to spend considerably more and don’t mind a 13 inch screen, opt for the Apple MacBook Pro – Core 2 Duo 2.26 GHz 13.3″ Laptop which Amazon will sell for a reduced price of $885. Apple computers are compact, powerful, stylish, easy to use and crash a whole lot less than PC’s do. Additionally, you’ll be nearly impervious to viruses, spyware or other problems that plague the Windows-based laptops.
