Following up on the saga of the Motorola Droid autofocus bug, Verizon has confirmed that the forthcoming Android 2.0.1 update for the device will indeed address the autofocus issue and is still expected on December 11th as previously reported.
In related news following up HTC’s confirmation of the HTC Droid Eris update earlier today, Verizon has also confirmed in the same press statement that the forthcoming Droid Eris update will in fact be an Android update to “at least version 2.0″ with the previously confirmed Google Maps with Navigation support along with Sense UI.
